I’m gonna change my tumblr name (!!!) to what you see up there! :D Yeah, I do knit. And I’m very proud of it. In fact, I’ve known how to knit since I was 3 ;]
Now… About O levels. THREE MORE PAPERS LEFT! Social studies, chem 1 and bio 1. Heeeeeeee
GCE ‘O’ Levels Starting On Monday :/
So the much-dreaded O Levels are coming up and I’m not the least bit prepared. Firstly, what was I thinking when i started a tumblr. 5 days before such important exams that will determine my fate for the rest of my life? Come to think of it, I’m not the stupid one, it’s the exams!
Anyway, i decided that this post was to be a quick stock-take on my prepared-ness. The subjects i take: English, Elementary Math, Additional Math, Chemistry, Biology, Literature in English and Combined Humanities (History). That’s 7, right? yeah. I already did Chinese in May/June. I PASSED. Amazing feat, seeing that i did Higher Chinese in primary school. What happened? maybe it’s cos hua yu ain’t cool? haha.
- English - I need to memorise letter formats. That’s about it. hopefully i can hit an A ;]
- EMath - I think I’ve bagged an A for this… Unless I forget to bring my geometrical set.
Then maybe I’d have to settle for less. - AMath - This one is definitely hit or miss. Possibly an A or B? I still don’t know how to do R-formula… What is that anyway?
- Chemistry - I’ve finished reading the textbook from cover to cover so A for this? :D heheh…
- Biology - I’ve only studied 2 chapters, The Eye and Hormones :/
- Literature in English - I’ve finally finished reading both Fahrenheit 451 and Whose Life Is It Anyway. Both were painfully boring and sad. I’m just hoping to pass.
- Combined Humanites (History) - I’m pretty much done for history, but i haven’t started on Social Studies. Maybe it’s cos I’ve not been very social lately? haha okay that was lame…
I’ve aiming for 8 points here, but right now it seems unrealistic. Actually, the score to beat would be 12, cos that’s what my brother got and it’s the best in the family so far. I’m taking sibling rivalry down to academics.
On a different note, I’m hooked on reading Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief. I’ve gotten really good at procrastinating lately…
